Hi, I'm Alfie, a 25-year-old videographer/photographer that has spent the last two years producing content for a residential dog training company in Southwell.
My background originates in sport, and more specifically in football. I studied Sport Journalism at Teesside University, but it was the video side of the course that really peaked my interest. This led to me being named as Video Journalist of the Year for 2022 at the end of year awards.
After university, I spent a year with Reach PLC covering Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham for football.london as a multimedia journalist. This gave me valuable experience in working to tight deadlines to ensure content was published as soon as it was relevant.
But it's been my time at Platinum K9 that has really allowed my skills to flourish. Not only do I create content to go across the social media accounts, both short form and long form for YouTube, I help with the filming and editing of weekly training videos to ensure that each owner is regularly updated whilst their dog stays with us.
I also run my own business, The Bertmont Creative. I have worked with businesses such as Mitchells & Butlers and IHP to create engaging video for social media as well as progress videos on various projects around the Midlands.
